My artistic production flows between the extended fields of animation, media art and light arts. Technology and moving image are often the central components of my art. I have worked as a freelance media artist in both Finland and abroad since 2006, primarily focusing on installation art as well as on projection content in theatrical contexts. Alongside my artistic work, I have worked at the Arts Promotion Centre Finland since 2016, in the development of art as a consultant and as the regional artist representative of Northern Finland.

I am a Canadian artist, project organiser and curator, based in Jyväskylä. Alongside my own artistic production I have developed and facilitated several projects related to contemporary art. These are projects such as the nomadic art gallery Äkkigalleria, the global photography project Laatikkomo – six degrees of photography, Ti-La2016, the interior-environmental art triennial House Games and the nomadic cinema Bring a Chair!. I was the guest curator for the Mäntä Art Festival in 2020/2021 and have been invited to curate exhibitions with other institutions such as the Jyväskylä Art Museum. In addition to these projects I have also worked on the boards of the Central Finnish Dance Centre, the Jyväskylä Artists Association as well as in the Arts Promotion Centre as the Chair of the multidisciplinary arts council (2023-2024).
