For many it has been clear for a long time, and some have even dared to admit it. Only now has it become mainstream, though still some refuse to accept it, while others shamelessly pocket all the money. Simply put, if we burn all the fossil fuels in the ground, all the coal, oil, gas – the world will burn.
Firehead is a performance, a street poem, a gravestone, a being that appears. It is the roar of burning oil in the middle of wealth. Firehead walks on the street, and from time to time, randomly or sparked by a passerby’s curiosity, he grabs a megaphone and bursts into shouting, whispering, reciting, singing memorials to fossil capitalism, written by poets and authors, artists, researchers, journalists.
