”Henkien talo” on koko ajan muuttuva teos. Se koostuu keraamisista reliefeistä neljältä vuosikymmeneltä. Teos menettää ja saa uusia osia vuosien varrella. Tällä hetkellä kotona ”Henkien talossa” on 65 osaa. Teokseen liittyy rinnakkainen ”Henkien talo”-videoesitys josta löytyy myös poissaolevat osat.
Anja Nissinen on oululainen kuvataiteilija. Hänen taiteellinen työskentelynsä perustuu intuitioon jota rationaalinen ajattelu yrittää järkeistää. Nissisen teoksista löytyy usein nostalginen vire. Tällä hetkellä Nissinen maalaa akryyleillä ja vesiväreillä sekä tekee keraamisia veistoksia ja reliefejä.
Näyttely on osa Oulu2026-kulttuuriohjelmaa ja kulttuuri-ilmastonmuutosta.

“The House of Spirits” is a work that is constantly changing. It consists of ceramic reliefs from four decades. Through the years the work gains and loses parts. At the moment there are 65 parts at home in the house. The work has a parallel “House of Spirits” video performance, which contains
also the parts that are absent.
Anja Nissinen is an artist from Oulu. Her artistic working style is based on intuition, which is trying to be tempered by rational thought. There is often a nostalgic undertone to be found in her works. At the moment she paints with acrylics and water colours, and makes ceramic sculptures and reliefs.
The exhibition is part of the Oulu2026 cultural program and cultural climate change.
